Dryer runs. No flame - no heat.
Answer Hello John. You will need to test the thermostats and the flame sensor and make sure they are good. They should read closed for continuity. Also, check the igniter to see if it is good. If it is not glowing, test for power. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter for the testing procedures. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
Dryer flame turn off after few minute and won't turn on until re-plug the power.
Answer Hello Danny. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the coils may be bad and need to be replaced on the unit.
Hello, I have a similar situation as a question posed. The dryer when set for moisture level runs continuously, whereas the timer setting works. From your answer, it appears it may be the thermostat. Is that correct? If so, it is the Thermostat net AP4037199 (item 8) or the Hi Limit thermostat AP4036956 (item 17), or is there a moisture sensor of some sort? The dryer does heat up and run. Thank you.
Answer Bernard, The first thing to do, set the timer in an auto sdvance setting. Disconnect the exhaust vent from the back of the dryer and start and let the dryer run for 10 to 15 minutes, empty. If the timer advannces, you have a venting issue (clogged, kinked, vent pipe or exhaust hood). Also check the blower inlet housing (under the lint filter). If the timer doesn't advance, replce the cycling thermostat first

Unit does not cylce on auto dry but works on Timed cycle. Therefore not the timer but seems like it is the thermostat. Is that correct?
Answer Hello Harvey. Yes, that could be correct. Try running the dryer without the vent attached and see if it cycles in auto dry. If so, the vent is the problem. Hope this helps.
My dryer heats up and shuts down, heats up and shuts down, does not stay hot where it will dry clothes.
Answer Hello Harry. It sounds like the venting system is clogged or kinked. You will need to check the vent and clean it out. Be sure and clean the vent pipe and the dryer air duct assembly. If the air flow is not good, the unit will retain moist air causing the clothes not to dry. Try running the unit with the vent unhooked from the back of the dryer and see if the dryer works properly. Hope this helps.
