My whirlpool washer goes through the fill cycle and when it gets to the pause it stops and does not continue.
Would this be a timer dial problem?
Answer Hello Pat. Check and see if the lid switch is bad on the unit. If it is good, and you can manually advance and it agitate and spin, you will need to replace the timer on the unit.
The arrow on the dial does not match up to what cycle the washer is actually in. How can I get that back in the right position?
Answer Hello Larry. It sounds like the dial 3957849 may be bad and need to be replaced on the unit. Try removing the knob and repositioning the dial. If it is stripped, replace the dial.
Whirlpool washer Modle # LXR7244JQ1 fills, washes, stops for 30 mins. at the pause/cool down. Then starts again. What's it's problem, please. An answer today? Thank you.
Answer Barbara, In the "cool Down" portion of the cycle, the washer fills with cold water. You need to check the cold water fill hose screen and cold water valve screen for debris and sediment, and clean it out, so you have a good , proper cold fill. Thanks and Good Luck
The dial on the washer that tells the washer what kind of load of clothes that you are trying to wash. It will only work now in delicate cycle.
Answer Hello Ruby. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the timer is bad and will need to be replaced. The model number you provided is not working properly. We will need your correct model number to help you with this. Thanks. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx
