My washer will not fill with hot or cold. My washer will agiatate. Do you think its the the valve where the water lines hook up to or do you think its the washer timer?

Hi. My washer starts agitating and filling at the same time and when finished there is still water in bottom of washer. I have to spin out again. It only 2 years old. I would like to fix it. I have read some faq and it sounds like I should replace switch sensor #38 and timer #9. Does that sound right? Thank you.

My washer begins to agitate as soon as I turn it on. Then the water starts to fill & also sounds as if it is draining as it fills. It agitates briefly then drains, spins, sprays water as if in the rinse cycle but does not seem to fill for either wash or rinse. When it is done spinning it leaves a bit of water on the clothes. This washer is only 2 years old so VERY disappointed it is acting up. What part/parts do I need? Can I return any if not needed?

The washer fills with water and begins to agitate but will not move through to the rinse and spin cycle unless we manually do it. Smells hot if left to wash and will just continue to agitatate. Is this just the timer? This washer is about 2 years old.
