The right igniter started constantly clicking tonight. I found your site off of a google search that stated that means the igniter needs to be replaced. The part is art Number: AP4088694 MFG Part Number: 71002179 Made by: Whirlpool Your website is out of stock. I chatted with someone on your site and he suggested cleaning it. He said like on the video, but the video is of range. I have a gas cook top. There is a trap door under them. The tech on the chat suggested cleaning first since the part is out of stock. May I clean it with a toothbrush? Can you send me a video on how to replace the igniter? Is there any way you can get the part?

Out of four burners, 2 right ones light fine and 2-3 clicks in. Other two burners have issues- left rear lights after 9-10 clicks if at all and left front clicks but does not light- I have cleaned the burner well, so gas pathway fine. Sometimes when turning the knob on front left there is another kind of weird clicking (maybe at the spark module?) I have brushed the surface of the igniter lightly- doesn't seem to be blocked or anything. Is multimeter use next to determine what is kaput, or take it apart and clean it better since it is sparking just late?

The ignitor on the right side burners comes on when we try to light the left burners. No spark on the left. A Maytag repairman replaced the spark unit last year. Now the left we have to start with a match. Everything is clean. All 5 burners work well once lite. I get a rare spark on the left. Mostly right spart when attempting to light a burner on the left. Would relpacing the left ignitor be an option? I replaced the micro switch wchich resolved fan operations

The igniter on my stove top is not working for both burners, what is the best way to determine if its the switch, the spark module, or the igniter itself? When you turn on the front left burner, the extractor fan comes on for some reason, what can be causing this? The switch for the fan/oven light is not working, what can I do to determine this issue as well?
