Does the outer tub include the bearing assembly? Is anything connected/included with this part? I'm getting a louder and louder noise on the spin cycle and most DIYs posts point to this part. AP4316595

I have water leaking water under the outer tub only when it fills up with water and starts agitating reverse and forward, could this be leaking water through the bearing & seal on the outer tub?

I just bought a new outer tube assy and got it all installed and the sound of a jet plane taking off is gone but now it sounds like the motor housing and stator are rubbing to gether when it goes into the spin cycle.

Hello, Washer is about 2 years old but all the sudden at spin cycle it's getting noisy as if something is grinding !! I can hear the noise a bit if I rotate the agitator by hand quickly, otherwise it's working fine, what should I look for ? Thank you

Maytag Bravos washer is getting loader during spin cycle and recently noticed water on floor after cycle completes. Suspect seal failure and bearing going bad. For model MTW6600TQ0 what is the quickest method to repair? I understand the bearing and seal were only available with the outer tub as a complete unit. Other info states the bearing, seal and shaft are available as a kit using required press tool to install. Please confirm which is correct for this model. Is PS3501622 the part # for this Maytag washer or what is the correct part #? Thanks, Rueben

Had very loud noises during the spin cycle, the "jet engine". Bought the bearing kit but the new drive shaft will not go in the tub. No matter how hard you hammer. Also the outer tub had water and a oily residue in it. Is a new outer tub the best way to go? And does that include the bearing assembly and all?
