I have read other peoples questions, and i still dont seem to have this correct. When My kenmore H3 washer goes into a spin it sounds like its taking off. yes a loud bass sound. now i read replace this replace that, if i order a part it may not be that part it may be another, taking the washer apart is alot of work, and once apart i would need to know where i can go get the part, around where i live there is no where i would need to order it. so with this in mind. Which direction do i go? Keep in mind i am not made of money and do not want to order more then one part unless necessary. I am an electrician and I have worked on some of these washers and dryers, so i dont need someone to come out do it i just need to know what am i looking for as far as sound and or vibrations ETC again it sounds like a jet taking off, and its real loud only on the spin.

Hello, the machine is only three years old but the bearings are bad. Very loud when spinning. Do I have to buy the entire rear outer tub assembly to get the bearings, or can I get them separate? If the basket shaft isn't damaged do I still need a new basket?

My bearing went bad on the basket shaft. I cant find just the shaft, everything I find they want to sell me the whole basket with the shaft. Where can I buy just the shaft. It bolts to the basket with six screws.

My old tub bearing outside the tub has a raised boss about 1/4" above the tub plastic. Inside the boss is a snap ring. The boss has a section cut out where there is a screw. The new tub does not have this boss and the bearing housing is flush with the tub. There is no snap ring holding the bearing. There is a hole for a screw same as the old. Is this difference a problem? Do I need a spacer behind the bearing between the hub and pulley? Also the is a metal wire clip inside the rear outer drum. It is shown on the right of the picture in the square shape part of the tub. What is this for? The old tub did not have it or it was knocked out by the failed basket.

The large pulley goes in and out when it spins. The nut was loose on the drum and when I tightened it, I got these results. Do I need new tub bearing, Pulley, or what? Thanks

We have a Kenmore Elite washer that has a bad "front outer tub". I believe this may have been caused by a bad bearing or rear tub assembly? Can we replace just the bearing in the plastic assembly or do we have to replace the complete assembly as it is pressed in? Thank you!
