The tub in the washing machine is sitting crooked and will not spin. The washer is 10 years old and has not have a great deal of wear. I had a repair technician come out today and identify that the rear tub bearings are shot. He said buy a new washing machine. I can have the rear bearings replaced with the rear drum assembly (W10253864) for about $400. However, I have also noticed that the tub is sitting crooked and there is some slight damage to the white plastic around the front of the tub. Otherwise the tub looks in good shape. Does this slight damage (that probably happened when the bearings failed) mean that I need to replace the tub? If I replace the rear drum, do I need to replace the front drum? Do you think that there are any other parts that would normally be replaced with a rear drum? Thanks

It appears from the picture that outer tub AP4412018 includes a lubricant - Amblygon TA 30/1? Is it possible to buy the lubricant by itself? Is there a compatible lubricant that you would recommend for the Whirlpool washer model GHW9150PW0? Thank you.

hello, the rear bearing on my washer blew the seal and most of the ball bearings are gone. I started looking to purchase a bearing kit and come to find out that I must purchase the whole "outer tub" in order to get the bearings (screwed) for this model #. there are many similar models where you can purchase just the bearing replacement kits. would it be likely or possible to purchase a bearing kit that would fit this ? I could measure the diameter and depth of the existing bearings.

I have a kenmore 110.44832200 front load washer. The drum just recently started to spin off balance and now has worn away the plastic shoulder on the front of the outer drum, which has created an even larger gap, causing it to knock and be more off balance. I think I need to replace the white plastic front outer drum, but will this correct the problem, or is there something inside that is causing the drum to be off balance and will eventually wear out the new outer drum again? Does the rear outer drum need to be replaced(bearing shot??)Bearing doesnt make any noise. It is all apart and I am capable of handling this repair myself. Thanks.

I have read other peoples questions, and i still dont seem to have this correct. When My kenmore H3 washer goes into a spin it sounds like its taking off. yes a loud bass sound. now i read replace this replace that, if i order a part it may not be that part it may be another, taking the washer apart is alot of work, and once apart i would need to know where i can go get the part, around where i live there is no where i would need to order it. so with this in mind. Which direction do i go? Keep in mind i am not made of money and do not want to order more then one part unless necessary. I am an electrician and I have worked on some of these washers and dryers, so i dont need someone to come out do it i just need to know what am i looking for as far as sound and or vibrations ETC again it sounds like a jet taking off, and its real loud only on the spin.

Hello, the machine is only three years old but the bearings are bad. Very loud when spinning. Do I have to buy the entire rear outer tub assembly to get the bearings, or can I get them separate? If the basket shaft isn't damaged do I still need a new basket?

My old tub bearing outside the tub has a raised boss about 1/4" above the tub plastic. Inside the boss is a snap ring. The boss has a section cut out where there is a screw. The new tub does not have this boss and the bearing housing is flush with the tub. There is no snap ring holding the bearing. There is a hole for a screw same as the old. Is this difference a problem? Do I need a spacer behind the bearing between the hub and pulley? Also the is a metal wire clip inside the rear outer drum. It is shown on the right of the picture in the square shape part of the tub. What is this for? The old tub did not have it or it was knocked out by the failed basket.
