Upper agitator comes off and wont stay down , If I replace it will the new one stay or do I need more parts?
Answer Hello Alan. It sounds like the hole is wore out inside the agitator. If you replace it with a new one, it should be ok. Make sure the bolt is still there to connect the new upper to the lower agitator. Hope this helps.
The auger was floating in my washer. Do I need to just replace that part or do I need to replace the base as well? And is it easy to do? Thanks
Answer Hello Teresa! You will need to check the bolt down in the center of the auger has came undone or if the plastic that is around the bolt has stripped. If it has stripped replace the auger only, your part number is 21001878. Thanks.
Is there a different auger to purchase? It seems that the design is very poor and will always fail.
Answer Hello Joe! The original auger has been redesigned. We now carry the most updated part from the manufacturer. The part number is 21001878. Thanks!
What part of this model washer keeps the lint from sticking to the clothes?
Answer Hello Hector. Alot of models have a lint filter built into the upper part of the agitator. Looking through the part list for your model it does not look like your model came with one. Thanks!
