Someone broke the light green start button, it is not seating and turning on what is a working washer.
How do I open up the face plate and replace the replace the button?
Answer Hello Mike. Disconnect the power. Remove the screws from the top panel and slide it back and off the unit. Once removed, you will remove the dispenser and remove all screws securing the control panel to the unit. Then unsnap the control panel from the cabinet on the unit. Remove the board and replace the button.
I'm not getting power to my GHW9100L washing machine. I just replaced the CCU and it still is not working. Either I purchased a bad CCU or my touchpad/LED assembly is dead. Any suggestions for testing these components?
Answer Hello Dave,
You will want to check the noise filter to make sure that you are getting power through filter. Check from L to n and you should have 120 vac. If you do not have voltage then replace the filter. If there is power going to the filter check the control board for voltage. If there is voltage to the control board then you will want to replace the interface.
My washer stopped and the door lock, display number 888 and I check all the troubleshooting but nothing. Thanks for your time.
Answer Hello Jeff. Check for some loose or bad wiring connections. If there is none found, it sounds like the electronic control 8182717 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit.
