Put on oven or broiler I hear electronic ignition no heat no flame.
Answer Hello Yvonne,
You will need to check your gas valves for resistance. When you check the valve check from bake to common and from broil to common. You should have 216 ohms resistance across each of these points. If you do not have this resistance then you will need to replace the safety valve W10293048. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
THE OVEN DOES NOT WORK. (BROIL OR BAKE. CHECKING THE TERMINAL FOR SOLENOIS ITS SHOWN 540 OHMS ON THE BAKE TERMINAL AND 210 ON THE BROIL.. WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?
Answer Juan, The test to the gas valve coils W10293048 should have been from the middle terminal to the outside terminal, then the middle terminal to the other outside terminal. The test should have produced 215(+/- 10%) ohms resistance on each test( with the wires disconnected). Based on your post information, you hve a faulty gas valve bake solenoid. If either solenoid has failed, the gas valve won't operate.
