THE OVEN DOES NOT WORK. (BROIL OR BAKE. CHECKING THE TERMINAL FOR SOLENOIS ITS SHOWN 540 OHMS ON THE BAKE TERMINAL AND 210 ON THE BROIL.. WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?
Answer Juan, The test to the gas valve coils W10293048 should have been from the middle terminal to the outside terminal, then the middle terminal to the other outside terminal. The test should have produced 215(+/- 10%) ohms resistance on each test( with the wires disconnected). Based on your post information, you hve a faulty gas valve bake solenoid. If either solenoid has failed, the gas valve won't operate.
I need to order the parts to convert this range from lp back to natural. Could you give me a list of all the parts that need to be changed over.
Answer Hi Kevin, I have listed below the top burner orifices needed for Natural Gas. The oven orifices should be adjustable. Thanks!
- 8273064 Left Front
- 8273065 Left Rear
- 8273066 Right Front
- 8273067 Right Rear
My oven is slow to heat at first and it somtimes sounds as if air or a wind is blowing in it.
Answer Hello Bonnie. Test for 3.2-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter and the igniter will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
