My Kenmore washer won't fill up with water, but it will rinse if I turn it to rinse. We tested the water valve and it didn't read anything on the ohms tester. We also tested the sensor switch and nothing. Again we unplugged the one plug with the 2 wires and set the washer to a cycle and no luck. Please help me and do you know if I took it to a appliance store both of the parts do you think they can test them with out the whole washer.

I think I need to replace the inlet valve on my maytag washer, but I the valves are testing ok on the meter, but the valve charge are the black part and that connect to the tube does not test ok. That means that that part is bad and I should go ahead and order the part correct? Thanks!

My Maytag washing machine model # MVWC5ESXW0 will only spin. Unit will not fill with water or agitate. I tried all the cycles and I found out that in HEAVY DUTY cycle, before the first rinsing area, it agitate for few minutes ( by the way, I manually put water in it because I thought maybe its just the water problem). It also drain and spin. Can you pls. help me to find out what the problem is or is there any parts that I need to purchase. I just can't afford calling a repairman now, after being hit by super storm Sandy.

In one of your previous answers, you referred to a "sensor switch" (p/n AP4501024). I cannot locate that sensor on the diagrams. However, it looks a lot like the Load Level Switch/Temp. Sensor Switch (p/n AP4459660).
