My washer was stored over the winter in an unheated garage. Now that I have hooked it up inside the house water is spewing out the back upper vents. After lifting the lid it looks like the center outlet that is capped on the water valve has split (probably frozen?). Serial number is 85990886AE. What is the correct replacement PN for the water valve assembly?
Answer Hello Champy,
22003834 is the correct part number for the two coil water valve (blue) on the model and series you posted. In case your water valve has four coils, this part is 22003245. If the unit has two coils and they are beige, 12001930 is the part number for this design. You should be able to tell by looking at the pictures of the parts, but by the literature, the first is the one that will fit your model.
Which type of water valve do I need. SN A9722699EA. Thanks.
Answer Hello Eric. You need to order part number 22003834 according to the model and serial numbers.
During the wash cycle water pours out of the front. I mean a bunch pours out.
Answer Hello Ray. You need to check and see if there is any tears in the boot 12002533 and if you need to replace the boot on the unit.
