Water does not drain after cycle.
Answer Hello Victor. Check and see if the pump is clogged or if the lid switch is bad on the unit. You can test the lid switch with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
I just need to change the pump motor not the whole assembly, why cant I get just motor?
Answer Hello Whitey! Unfortunately, the manufacturer only offers the drain pump with the motor as an assembly, part number 280187. Sorry about that!
how do I check for and open clogged drain pump?
Answer Darlene, You'll need to remove the lower access panel from the front of the washer, and unplug the power cord. Then you can turn the drain pump filter/cap counterclockwise and remove the cap and filter to check for clogs and clean out any debris that has accumulated inside the pump. You'll need a container, or some rags or towels to collect the water that will spill out from the pump.
I have a whirlpool duet front loader, model number GHW9100LW1, all day yesterday I had the flashing F code and I hear a clicking sound, and there was still water in the in tube, just would not drain. Does that mean its the pump
If the water is not draining from the unit, you will want to access the drain pump and check it for clogs. A clogged drain pump would cause the issue. You will also want to check to make sure that the pump is getting proper power when the unit goes to drain cycle.
I have a front load washer and my washer complete the spin cycle and hot water still fill in my washer what part do I need.
If you are having hot water run into the unit while the unit is off then you will want to disconnect the wire harness from the hot water valve on the unit and if water continues to flow then replace the water valve. If the water stops then replace the control board.
OCASIONAL WATER WILL COME HALF WAY UP THE DOOR ON OUR FRONT LOAD WASHER--WE turn to rinse and spin and the water will drain out would this be the pump or is the problem else ware--we run about 20 loads a week and it happens about twice
Answer Ray, It's not likely a drain pump issue, not without other issues. It is more likely , that there is sediment, debris or maybe a twist or kink in the air dome hose W10004260 or drain pump connection, causing the air in the tube to affect the water fill level. You may want to disconnect the air hose from the water level switch W10514214 check the hose for twists or kinks, and blow in the end of the hose to clear any blockage. Remove the drain pump filter/cap and clear any debris in the drain pump chamber.
