Would a faulty water pump cause the unit to stop, beep and blink an f code, then eventually lock the door with a load of wet clothes inside?
Answer Yes if the water is not pumping out, then the machine thinks it is flooding and shuts off, and locks the door for safety.

When my washer drains, it seems like it puts out to much water at one time.
Answer Hello Kim,
This is normal operation for the machine but it sounds like you may need to call a plumber for your drain. If the drain is restricted, it will cause the water to back up the pipe and leak in the floor.
Have a front load washer and the drum is not spinning. Could it be that the belt would need to be replaced. When it at the rinse and spin cycle it does not move.
If the unit is agitating then the issue would not be the belt. You will want to check the door lock assembly, check the pump to make sure that it is not clogged or draining all the way. You will want to get the tech sheet from inside the unit and check to see if there are any error codes stored and put through diagnostics to see if all cycles are working. If working in the diagnostics then the main control board would be the issue.
Can I return the part if it doesn't resolve my issue? Thank you.
