I HAD A RAG GET STUCK IN THE HOSE THAT ATTACHES TO THE BOTTOM OF THE TUB NEAR THE BALL. AFTER TAKING THE RAG OUT I RAN THE MACHINE BUT STILL NO DRAINING BUT NO ERROR CODE. DID THE PUMP BURN ITSELF OUT? IT GETS WARM AND MAKES A TICKING NOISE.

I have a Kenmore Elite He3 front loading washer that I’m experiencing problems with. It is a 10- year old unit. There has been 2 codes on the display several times and they were sud, and F02. I realize that there is a problem with the pump or oversudsing (but there was no detergent in machine at the time). I ran the pump diagnostics on it and it pumped the water out but it seems slow and noisy. The pump also continued to run and timeout after 8-minutes. Also I cleaned the filters and removed the pump to look for debris and none was found. When I spun the pump by hand it wasn’t a smooth motion but had a detent as you rotated it around by hand. Does this sound normal? Or would you advise replacing the pump?

Hello. My washer is flashing an F02 light. It sounds like it is draining, but will not cycle through. The last item that was washed was a bathroom rug that ended up getting shredded. Is there a way that the draining hose could be blocked?
