Side by side refrigerator. Waterfall coming out of where it makes ice cubes.
When putting back water filter more water comes out, now the freezer is freezing cold and refrigerator side not getting cold.

Answer Hello Michelle. It sounds like the water valve W10408179 is bad and will need to be replaced. You will also need to thaw out the evaporator coils on the unit if they are frozen over and not allowing the fan to draw the cold air into the refrigerator side. Remove the back wall inside the freezer and see if the coils are frozen over. Also check and make sure the evaporator fan motor 4389144 is running properly. Hope this helps.
Where is the water filter located?
Stephen F. for Model Number ED5PHEXRL00
Answer Hello Stephen! The filter 4396710 is located under the front grille of the refrigerator. You will remove the water filter cap 2260502B and release the water filter. Thanks!

Answer Hello. You will want to make sure the switch 2162361 is still sending power down to the valve everytime you press in the paddle. If so, you might have a bad water valve W10408179. You can refer to some of the answers on the water valve page for further troubleshooting. Thanks
Our Roper refrigerator at random times makes a loud noise down near the bottom of the refrigerator. What is causing that?
Deb for Model Number RS25AGXN
Answer Hello Deb. Check and make sure the condenser fan is not hitting anything, and the fan motor is not causing the noise. Also check the drain pan and see if it is rattling against the frame of the refrigerator. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello. Where is the noise coming from? Thanks.
Are the water lines that go into the rear of the housing screwed in, and is this a difficult thing to replace? Thanks
Dave
Answer No, these are not screwed in. These have Releasing clips, that when you press them in, they will release the water lines. These are not hard to change. Hope this helps.
