I am only able to get hot water to flow into the machine. I suspect it is either the filter screen in the water valve or a poor connection on the 4-way wash/rinse switch. Can I make this determination without dismantling the water valve? And is there a procedure for dismantling the valve?

No hot water flow, so I need a water fill valve. There are two listed for my machine, which one should I get? Some of the settings have A.T.C (automatic temperature control). Do I need 12002158 or 22004333? Thanks!

Out of the blue, my "haunted" Maytag Atlantis washer will just start filling. I'm upstairs and I can here it. During the spin cycle, it will continuously run water. The timer is new and the circuit board has been replaced. If you unplug the washer, the water won't run. Now I'm crimping the cold water hose so no water will run during the spin cycle. Inlet valve? Any ideas?

I need a new water valve. Since my machine has an automatic water temperature setting, I assume I need the valve that has the thermistor (AP4010168). My machine's serial number starts with 21 or 22. Is this the part I need?

I went to do my final load of laundry the other night and my washer wouldn't stop filling up and it had done fine on the previous loads the same day. Is there a valve or switch possibly going bad or something I need to clean?

Went to check my water inlet valve ( like you suggested yesturday ), and when I opened the top I found a large amount of our dogs hair around the tub cover, & spinner (cloging up the drain openings). I did remove the tub cover ring for cleaning and now I would like to remove the agitator & tub to clean it completely, so nothing gets into the pump, is this something I could do without a lot of trouble? If so, are there any precautions I should take? Is there any diagrams I can follow?
