When the washer is filling, the water goes out through the pump as fast as it is filling
Answer Hello Tom. You will need to raise the drain hose above the tub of the machine. Also check and make sure there is an air gap where the drian hose enters the drain pipe. Hope this helps.

Water is leaking into the tub from the rear rim of the washer. Fills up in a few hours.
Answer Hello Bill. If the water valve is leaking water into the tub through the flume assembly, you will need to order and replace the water valve 21001932 on the unit.
Reattaching leads to valve assembly: I neglected to label the solenoid closest to the water output regarding attachment of the white or red wires. I did label the other solenoid and all the wires (top red, top white, bottom red, bottom white). So I am not positive how to reconnect the wires to the solenoid closest to the water outlet. Question: Regarding the solenoid closest to the water output, does the red wire connect closest to the water input (similar to the connection on the other solenoid), or on the other side? If a diagram is available, that would help! Thanks.
Answer Hi. Water Inlet Valve Assembly Part Number: 21001932. The purple and whit wires are for the valve. The pink and white wires are for the hot water valve. Look on the back cover to see the stamped "C" and "H" for orientation. Without the model # you can hook them up and select cold or warm wash. Then lift the lid and feel to see if the correct wiring was used. Make sure the fill hoses are verified by using a bucket to flush out hose sediment and to tell correct house water supply valve/ hose combination used. (Making sure the hot and clod water hose is connected to the unit water valve). There is a supplied wiring diagram in with the unit in behind the timer. Thank You.
The washer will not cut off when filling up with water to wash, overflows onto floor.
Answer Hello Kay. If you can stop the water by turning the machine off, you will need to replace the pressure switch Y2201474 or the pressure hose on the unit. If you have to turn off the water to stop the water flow, you will need to order and replace the water valve 21001932 on the unit.
The washer won't fill up.
Answer Hello Mickey. Try filling up the washer on a different water temperature. If it will fill on hot, and not on cold, You will need to replace the water valve 21001932. If it does not fill on either, you may have a bad lid switch 12001187 or pressure switch 21001882. Hope this helps.
WASHER WHEN ON WASH, WATER DONT ENTER BUT WHEN I PUT IT ON SPIN IT SPINS OK. WHEN I ROTATE THE KNOB IT WOULD NOT DO NOTHING.
Answer Hi Johnny. If you washer will not fill (espically) on both hot or cold, then do you hear them humming when called for a water fill? If so then you will need to replace the water valve. Part # is 21001932. Thank you.
When spinning, the washer is always out of balance.
Answer Hello Mitterando. You will need to look for plastic shavings in the bottom of the machine. If there are some, the snubber ring 21002026 will need to be replaced to balance the machine. Hope this helps.
When filling the washer, hot works great but cold only comes out a trickle. I've checked both end of filler hose nothing on the filter. Could it be the water inlet valve assembly? What else could it be?
Answer Hello John! If the fill hoses are not kinked or clogged it seems that the cold water inlet side of the valve is becoming defective. The inlet valve will need to be replaced. We will need your appliance serial number to verify the correct inlet valve used on your appliance. Thanks!
When washer is not running, water is dripping into the tub from just above the top at the rear. It appears to be dripping from a plastic piece at this location.
Answer Hello Peter. It sounds like the water valve is bad and will need to be replaced. You will need to supply your serial number so we can see which valve your washer needs. Hope this helps.
after I wash clothes the water is coming back.. Not alot of water but clothes are wet... when the washer is off the water is coming in just a little bit.. Have cover off and can see where water is coming from.. What do I need to replace... Is it part number AP4024482 or some other part..
Answer If you disconnect the washer from the power outlet and you continue to get water flowing in. The valve is 100% defective and you will need to replace it. If the water is not getting completly drained out then you have to re arrange your drain hose to allow proper drainage. The top of the standpipe must be at least 39" (99 cm) high and no higher than 96" (244 cm)
from the bottom of the washer. To avoid siphoning, no more than 8" (20.3 cm) of drain hose should be inside the standpipe.
Secure drain hose with beaded tie strap.
