I have taken out the three solenoid valve, but don't know how the wiring goes to plug onto the prongs. The plugs have 2 wires on 1 side and 1 wire on the other. The plugs are colorred, purple, red and white. On the solenoid has a marking "M " and "B4" on the prongs.
Please tell me how they connect. Your help would be very appericated.
Answer Norman, I don't have connector colors, But I do have wire colors, The single solenoid"Isolation valve"will have the water inlet tube attached to it and have a purple and tan wire in one side and a white wire on the other, The solenoid that supplies water to the ice maker will have a tan wire in one connector and a white wire in the other. and the solenoid that supplies water to the door dispenser will have a purple wire in one connector and a white wire in the other. I think this will get you through the rest of the repair, Good Luck and Thanks.

My water dispenser and ice maker are working, but the plastic part where the water line attaches is leaking (the part in the video he says will not be replaced...). I am willing to replace everything, but I need that part as well. Can you help?
Answer Dan, The 2206123 Water Inlet Valve, will have all three solenoids including the isolation solenoid and the brass connector for the water supply line. You'll have everything you need except a razor or sharp blade to trim the end of the water tubes so they seat and lock properly inside the john guess fittings.
I replaced ice maker(106 626662), filter and the inlet valve (2206123)on my Kenmore side-by-side(106.53504300). I still am not getting water coming into the cube tray. I was vary careful to put all the electrical and waterlines on as they came off the old one. Water does flow through fine to the water despenser. Is there some way to reset it so it will work as intended?
Since the water valve was replaced and a new filter put in, you will want to check the fill tube coming into the icemaker to ensure that there is no ice build up in it. If this is clear then you will need to check the icemaker module by removing the cover of the icemaker and remove the 3 screws holding the module in place. Once this is done you will need to turn the module over and look for burn marks on the lower right side of the module. If burnt you will want to replace the icemaker and if not then check the wheel of the front of the module to see if the pins in the center are broken. If so then replace the module. There is no reset.
