I have taken out the three solenoid valve, but don't know how the wiring goes to plug onto the prongs. The plugs have 2 wires on 1 side and 1 wire on the other. The plugs are colorred, purple, red and white. On the solenoid has a marking "M " and "B4" on the prongs. Please tell me how they connect. Your help would be very appericated.

Icemaker not making ice. Sometimes little water and sometimes it over flows. You can hear when water shuts off it makes a loud noise. Is it the water intake value?

I'm getting too much water when the ice maker fills up. When I adjust the timer, it doesn't change the length of time it fills. I'm thinking the ice maker is bad but I'm not sure. I've also checked the water inlet valve. How many ohms should water inlet valve #2206123 be pulling? I'm getting. The inlet solenoid is pulling 350, the green solenoid is pulling 175, and the purple is pulling 350. Does this mean the inlet valve is good? The water pressure going into the inlet valve seems to be fine. I've read through research that whenever you get too much water, it is either the ice maker, the water inlet valve, or the pressure coming in.

I'm looking at the Water Inlet Valve. Your video says replace it if water is NOT coming into the water spout or the ice maker. My problem is that the water is coming in but will not turn off sometimes -- so there is leaking from the water spout in the door (not a lot and not always) and the water will build up into the shoot of the icemaker and then freeze so that it will not make ice again until I thaw that tubing out. Is that problem of the water not shutting off at the right time from the Water Inlet Valve also, or should I be looking at some other part? Thank you!!

I recently replaced the three solenoid water valve on the fridge to solve an ice maker problem. The only problem I can detect in the old unit is an open winding reading in the one solenoid that opens the valve to the ice maker tray. There are three plastic solenoids of different colors, red on the inlet valve, blue on the water dispenser valve and green on the ice maker valve. Are these individual solenoids available? All they appear to be is a winding encased in plastic with two terminals. valve is a FSP Model X74 part no.2206123

Ice-maker is not getting any water, door dispenser is. I am going to change the inlet valve assembly # 2206123 but I have threaded fittings. Are all of the current valves with push-in lines or can I get this valve with threaded fittings?

Hello, Do you have an installation video or instructions for replacing the water inlet valve? I just purchased part AP3040319 because my water dispenser doesn't fully shut off when the lever is not engaged. Water leaks into the "catch" tray which then overflows down the outside of the door and onto the floor. Nice. I'm hoping this part will correct this issue. If you can point me to a video for replacing this part I would be very grateful. Thank You!

Hello, We recently switched out the dual water valves. My son took all the tubes off the old one and guessed where they were supposed to go on the new one. We had water running through the water & ice dispenser and switched out the 2 thin lines. Now we have water through the water dispenser but the ice maker has the same ice sitting there since yesterday. It is not knocking them out. Does this have anything to do with the tubes and how they might be connected?
