Answer Hello Jc. Check and see if the fill tube is froze up. If so, you will need to thaw it out. Hope this helps.

The ice maker in my Amana side by side started spraying water around the area of the icemaker while it is refilling with water. It only does it while it is refilling and it works fine in every other way! Any ideas?
Scott
Answer Hello Scott,
Sounds like the fill tube is freezing up. Thaw it out with a hair dryer and replace the water valve to correct the issue permanently. Since no model number was posted, I regretfully cannot verify the part number you looked up is correct.
I bought water inlet mfg part # 67005154 and installed. I still have no water or ice. I have excellent input water pressure. I am using by-pass to eliminate filter problem. No leak anywhere.
Ranga for Model Number JGA8100ADB
Answer Hello Ranga,
The first thing you want to check is to make sure that you have 120vac coming to the water valve. If you do not have voltage then you need to find where you are loosing voltage. If you do have voltage then you want to check to make sure that the valve is pumping. If it is then you would need a filter head assembly. With a correct model number we would be able to advise you better.
Do you have just the o-ring seals for the water valve?
Casey for Model Number msd2655hew
Answer Hello Casey,
The water valve is not serviceable as per the manufacturer. Since it is "melted" together in the manufacturing process, if it is opened, it is destroyed.
Where the water comes out to fill a glass, after you filled the glass it keeps dripping water.
Richard for Model Number mzd2665hes
Answer Hello Richard. If the dispenser keeps dripping water and does not shut off, you will need to replace the water valve 67005154 in the unit. It sounds like it has a slow leak.
Installed new valve-inlet and still makes rattle noise but no water or ice??
Jsettles for Model Number Msd2651HEW
Answer Hello Jsettles. Based on the information you provided, if the noise is coming from the filter head location, you will need to replace the filter head 67006524 if the first 2 numbers of the serial number are 50 or later and 67004106 is it is 49 or before.
I am replacing a water valve. How do the lines come out of the old valve?
Warren for Model Number psd262lhe
Answer Hello Warren,
This is called a John Guess fitting. To install a line you push the line in and after it bottoms, it will pop in about another 1/4 inch. To seal it, you simply pull on the line. To remove it you push the line toward the valve and while still pushing, push in on the ring around the line. While holding the ring in, pull the line out.
