Dishwasher fills with water overnight
Answer Jim, Very good deduction, Yes you will want to replace the water inlet valve( it's seaping not sealing tight) you should also flush the water supply line of any debris and replace / install the new valve. Good Luck and Thanks.
What should be the voltage at the water inlet valve. I get 72v. Washer does not fill with water.
Answer Hello George. You will need to check the voltage, across the 2 wires, with them disconnected from the valve. You should be getting 120V to the valve. If you are not getting 120V to it, you could have a bad control, loose or broken wires, etc. The valve in question is a standard 120V unit. Hope this helps!
Dishwasher randomly does not fill with water during cycle. Would that be a failed inlet valve or is the control failing to send a signal?
Answer Hello Chuck! Check the float, it can stay up at times and cause the dishwasher to not fill. Make sure there is not residue build up causing it to stay up. Check to make sure that the board is sending 110v to the valve. If it is, replace the valve. Hope this helps!
Water will not go into dishwasher and water is turned on
Answer Hello Tom. You will want to make sure that you are getting power to the water valve. If you are getting power to the valve, then the valve might be stuck part number 8283346. Thanks!
