My ice maker on my kennmore model 106.56539400 fridge does not dispense water in the ice tray. I put a new filter on and that did not help. The drinking water works fine. I checked the water outlet in the freezer it was not frozen. If it is the water inlet valve how do I get to it to check ?

I have no water to the glass fill, but I do have water to the ice maker and it makes all the ice I need. What is wrong here and what parts do I need to replace.

I came home one day to find my icemaker was pouring water all over my freezer and consequently my kitchen floor. Any idea what caused that? We just shut it off and are using bag ice. Is there a part we need to replace or do we need to replace the entire unit?

I installed W10408179. When I tested the water in the door, the icemaker filled up while a dribble came out of the water dispenser. What is going on as there's no way to trip the wrong solenoid? The plugs are different as are the water lines. I replaced the valve system originally because water started pouring dispenser at 4 AM and would not stop until I killed the water supply. Thanks guys Bob

Our icemaker stopped dispensing ice. At first we thought perhaps a cube had gotten stuck like it does every couple of weeks or so, but that was not the case. Then we thought maybe something was stuck that we did not see. There was frozen water in the tray, so we know that the water was going to the icemaker before we took it out. We took out the icemaker and let everything thaw out. When we put the icemaker back in, nothing happened. We plugged it in, etc., and no water filled it, and it is not cycling. How do we determine if the icemaker needs to be replaced or the water valve? We have are having zero issues whatsoever with water dispensing from the door. The water pressure is fine. We just have zero ice.

I first replaced the bracket that holds the switch which I also replaced. I also replaced the water intake valve, still no water. I have checked the switches with an electric meter and also tried to check for a frozen water line. It doesn't appear to me that I have that problem. I 'm very discouraged that all the time and expense hasn't changed anything. I'm giving up unless I can get some advise as to how to check further options without spending more money for parts.

The water dispenser in the door stopped dispensing water. The ice maker still works and the door still dispenses crushed and cubed ice. What can I do to make the water dispenser work again?
