My washer continues to fill with water throughout the washing process. Would I need the fill valve or the pressure hose?
Answer Hello Shirley,
Check the water pressure to the unit first. This should be done by checking for clogged screens in the water supply hoses and the water valve. If no clogged screens are located and the water pressure is sufficient, unplug the4 unit while it is filling. If the water continues to flow, replace the water valve. If the water stops, replace the water switch W10339334.
The water overfills. I checked & tested the hose it looks OK. I tested the water level switch it looks good to me. However I am not sure if I tested it properly. Do you have a video?
Answer Ed, easy way to check to see which part is bad is to start the washer and let it begin filling. Remove the power to the unit, if it continues to fill you'll need to replace the inlet valve 285805 and if it stops filling you'll need to replace the pressure switch 3362134. Hope this helps. Thanks.
I have a Kenmore portable washing machine 1102670092. I had someone look at the machine there looked like the clear plastic hose was attached at one end and not the other. Where does it get attached to?
Answer Hello Susan,
While all models are different and the model number you listed does not come up as valid, I can only give you a general diagnosis. If this is the water level switch hose, one end connects to the water level switch and the other end will connect to either the lower part of the outer tub or onto the drain pump housing. This provides full pressure against the hose during times water is present in the tub. If it connects to the outside of the outer tub it will attach to a part of the outer tub called the air dome.
When starting to fill the washer with water, it will run the water and cut off. Then I will cut the machine off and restart each time until full is it the water level hose or the switch thank you
Based on the information you will want to check the lid switch to make sure that it is good. If the unit fills but then will not go into agitate and does not sound like it is trying to then the switch would be the most likely issue.
What does the LF error code mean? how to repair?
Answer Hello Victoria. LF flashes when the water level does not
change for a period of time OR water is
present but control does not detect the water
? Is water supply connected and turned on?
? Are hose screens plugged?
? Is water siphoning out of the drain hose?
Check for proper drain hose installation.
? Is the pressure hose connection from the
tub to the machine/motor control pinched,
kinked, plugged, or leaking air?
