I want to know what my pump type is considered. Is it a belt drive, direct drive, or electric?
Answer Hello Connie,
The pump 8182415 on the model number you listed is an electric motor driven pump. In other words, the motor that drives the pump is electric and is part of the assembly.
The water pump has become noisier (we have had it 4 years) and wondered if anyone else has had a problem with this pump?
Answer Hello Keith! Make sure that nothing has gotten stuck inside the drain pump 8182415. If no obstruction is inside the pump, it will need to be replaced. We do not have any information available that would advise us if this is a common issue on this product. Thanks.
