I had this fridge in the basement as a beer holder for 5 years. Decided to move it to kitchen recently, replaced water filter and hooked it up. Have little floating white pieces in water after about a week. I know where the tank (coil of plastic line) is but there are no fittings on it so that I could disconnect and pull it out. Do you know the size of the fitting I would use if I cut the coil out and wanted to reuse it after I cleaned it with vinegar?

If, instead of coiling back uncoiled Water Reservoir Tubing which is located inside the refrigerator, I would just replace it with the new one, are there step-by-step instructions showing how to accomplish this task?

Recently bought this refrigerator and I am getting "ghost scales" in the water that is dispensed in the door. We have flushed the line with approx 10 gallons of water but continue to get the scales. We are replacing the filter tomorrow. Is there a way to flush the reservoir tubing with vinegar or light bleach to remove the buildup of scales or does the line need to be replaced altogether? Is replacing the line difficult to do yourself?

I have a whirlpool refrigerator (model # ed25dqxaw01) and while I was cleaning the refrigerator I noticed the inside of the water reservoir tank was slimey looking. When I went to order a new reservoir tank off this site, it was only showing me 5/16 plastic tubing. This cant be right? They dont make replacement tanks? Any suggestions??

Where is the interior water filter located? I know it is in the upper right hand corner of the fresh food compartment but I can't seem to find it there. Also, what type of filter would I need when I replace the old one.

My water tastes really bad, I have replaced the water filter and the reservoir seems to be next. Does it also feed the ice maker? The ice does not have the bad taste. Thank you.

I am having a problem with my built-in Kitchenaide side-by-side. There is little or no cold air passing from the freezer side to the refrigerator. Initially I thought it may be the air baffle assembly, but now I believe there may be another problem. The freezer is icing over on the evaporator cover and near the water reservoir. Is it possible for the Evaporator Motor to be bad or what advise could you offer? Thanks
