Hello, recently replaced my RO system, and the fridge dispenser water has a slight odor and bad taste. I put bleach in most of the lines and still smells even though I flushed many gallons through it. Taste out of RO tank is great with no smell. What is the best way to flush the holding tank-Lines so I may clear this problem. I so appreciate any help with this matter. I have hit dead ends at every turn and have now bypassed the fridge and fill a gal jug from RO. Slightly inconvenient. Have a good night.

The tubing for the water reservoir has an orange color in it. Should it be replaced? If it does is it hard to replace? Our water has a stale taste to it. I know I have to change the filter but I would like to change the water reservoir, too.

How much water is held in the water reservoir? I have a problem with "stale" tasting water from time to time since I don't use much ice or water. I know that draining the water on a regular basis will help prevent this. I need to know about how much to drain. As it is, I drain until the water temp to the touch has increased, but it'd be much easier to just drain a set amount and be assured that I've run all the old water out.

I have debris in my water coming out of the dispenser. We have located the problem to the water reservoir coil. I need to replace it. I found a 2256126 water reservoir coil replacement. Do I need any couplers, or other parts. I am going to have to cut mine to get it out, and I was going to use 2 couplers to put the new one in. Do you know what part I will need? Thank you.

The water outlet on our fridge has a slow drip. We recently bought the 5 year old home and their is evidence it has leaked for some time. Since we moved in, I've added a RO unit prior to the water inlet and have removed the built in water filter. I bought parts: AP3181853, AP3775453 and AP3179954 . I don't believe I need part: AP3181853 as AP3775453 replaces the old water reservoir and contains it's own bracket for the straight poly tubing for use without the reservoir. Today I replaced the poly tubing and the leak still exists, although it is slower than before. I'm thinking about replacing the valve next, but it doesn't look like I can get to the valve without removing the 48" fridge from the wall. Do you have any suggestions I should try prior to replacing valve and if not, how is the best way to get to the valve. The valve's bracket and screws are removed from the front of the fridge; however i believe i need access to the back to release the water lines and power sources. Thanks

What is the benefit of the water reservoir being so long? (besides keeping the water cold in the fridge) Does the water reservoir have to be in the fridge or can i just decide to cut it shorter and go straight to the dispenser?

I replaced my water filter a few weeks back. After doing so, my in door water dispenser started to leak slightly. After a few days, the slight leak got worse. I read where you are suppose to bleed the water line by running water from the dispenser to correct this. I drained out two gallons of water and the drip persists. How do I correct this?

My cold water dispenser reservoir has failed. I see that the molded component has now been substituted with a length of poly vinyl tubing. Does this replacement tubing come with the necessary fittings to attach to the existing lines going to the old reservoir? If not, what additional parts will I need? Thanks, Tom
