I need to change the water reservior tube out. How easy is this? how long should it take? I had ordered one once before and it appears to be the wrong diameter. So I did not change it. Is there any directions or any thing. I am generally very handy with maintaince and things. I just hate opening a can of warms.

Hello, Looking for the reservoir, the solution with whirlpool seems to be this coil of tubing WPL AP3181346 Water Reservoir , no problem there. The issue is the tubing is 5/16 this connects to water valve fine. The other end to bottom of door doesn't fit it is supposed to connect to the door but that is more like a 1/4 this, size isn't fitting should there be a coupler? Not able to hook up to my model.

I found a hole at the bottom of the water reservoir line (Part 22561226) after it leaves the inside of the refrigerator, due to a mischievous mouse. Rather than replace the whole reservoir tubing I was wondering if it would be sufficient to cut out the damaged portion of the tube and add a John Guest coupler (Part 2300868) to couple the ends of the lines together. Would that be sufficient to withstand the pressure in the tube without leaking? Thanks in advance!

Hello, recently replaced my RO system, and the fridge dispenser water has a slight odor and bad taste. I put bleach in most of the lines and still smells even though I flushed many gallons through it. Taste out of RO tank is great with no smell. What is the best way to flush the holding tank-Lines so I may clear this problem. I so appreciate any help with this matter. I have hit dead ends at every turn and have now bypassed the fridge and fill a gal jug from RO. Slightly inconvenient. Have a good night.
