Water and ice taste bad from refrigerator even after replacing the water filter. What is the problem? What should I replace?
Typically the unit will not have an issue with bad water and ice taste and it is caused by an outside source that is causing the effect. It is possible that the water tank on the unit is bad and has build up that could cause this issue.
When I ordered the water tube #2255153 it didn't have a flaired in on the water tube. I have a quick disconnect on my Kenmore model 106.58962702, When I put the tube in it just easily popped out.
You will want to make sure that the water tube is pushed in all the way. Sometimes the tubing will stop like it is fully seated but will not be. Push in a little further and if it still is coming out when pulled on then replace the housing.
