When the washer was filling up with water for the rinse cycle the water did not shut off. This has now happened two or three times. What can cause this?
Answer Hello Dan. If you can stop the water from entering the machine by turning off the timer or unplugging the unit, you will need to look for a bad pressure hose or replace the pressure switch. If the only way to shut off the water is at the shut off for the water hoses, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit.
There is not a full flow of water into the washer, the water just dribbles in. What is the cause of this.
You will want to turn the water supply off and pull the hoses off the water valve. Check to make sure that the screens on the water valve are not clogged. If not clogged then the water valve would be the problem.
When starting the washer on hot I get a loud vibration. Moving the control to warm reduces the vibration by about 50%. On cold settings it works fine. Thank you for your help.
You will want to pull the water line off the hot side and check to make sure that the screen on the water valve is not clogged up. If it is then clean it out and retry to see if it is still making the noise. If it does then you will need a new water valve.
