Answer Hello Jerry! You will need to take the top rack out. To remove the clip on the upper rack you will push the front of the clip inward toward dishwasher rack and then pull out after it has released. Slide rack out and install new rail and put back in. Hope this helps you, thanks!

Answer Glen, The wheel mounting strip 99002072 Mounts to the wheel mounting plate 99002073, and the mounting plate attaches to the side of the rack wrungs. These are all "snap lock" fittings and attachment points, you need to be careful and not crack or break any of the tabs,especially the mounting strip tabs that insert and snap into the mounting plate.
Recently ordered a wheel track assembly(99002072). Do I need to take the upper rack off of its track and what is the preferred method for detaching the broken track from the rack.

Answer Dave, The rack roller wheels 99002106 "snap" onto the 99002072 Wheel Mounting Strip. You may want to use a pair of pliers to snap them into place on the axle(s) Thanks and Good Luck
