The water is not draining. The washer works until it is time to drain, and then it shuts off. I'm wondering how you know if it is the pump, or the timer that needs replacing. You advised to someone else, "If the motor is not running you will need to verify the timer is sending voltage to the motor. If so, the motor 661600 most likely has a bad winding. If not, the timer 3946448 is suspect. As a note, the wiring between the timer and motor should be checked before ordering the timer. " So the motor must be running until it is time to drain, would I assume it is the timer? How would you check the wiring between the timer and motor? Are you just making sure they are attaches?

I just replaced the 3363394 pump in our kenmore washing machine because the old one was leaking. The new one doesn't leak but defiantly makes a new noise that wasn't there with the old one. Any suggestions? Things I might have missed?

Washer fills and agitates then during drain it makes a clicking sound and room light flickers like a heavy draw on electrical system, clothes are not as dry after spin as they once were. It is doing this on both reg. and permanent press cycles.

I have a Whirlpool washer that doesn't drain but spins. It's not the lid switch, checked the pump and it seems good, no obstructions in the hoses or the pump. The washer fills and agititates, but when it's supposed to drain just jumps straight to spin spinning without stopping to drain. Any idea of what it could be? Thanks

I think I have a bad pump and have removed it for inspection. With the pump removed, I stuck a tool in the outlet to turn the impeller and it turned very hard. How freely should it turn and what else should I look for? Thanks.

Originally, my washing was shaking a lot during the spin cycle. So I replaced the springs, but that didn't fix the problem. Then I replaced the suspension pads, the other pads that are plastic that snap into the metal frame, but that didn't fix the problem. So then I replaced the drive block and the tub gasket, and now it makes a loud banging noise only during the spin cycle. Then the coupler broke, so I replaced that, but it still makes a loud banging/clunking noise in the spin cycle. This is different than the original problem. It makes a clunk/bang noise about every second in the spin cycle. Please help. What is making the clunk/bang noise? I don't know what I did or what is the problem.
