My wash will not empty the water out. It washed the clothes fine but it did not empty or spin out the water.
Suzanna for Model Number GSQ9611KQ1
Answer Suzanna,
You will want to check the drain pump to make sure that it is not clogged and make sure that it spins freely. If not then you will need to replace the pump.
have a kennmore 90 electric series---cf 3402408 stcok 26955
and i get a message that reads ol i guess 4 over load--- and i cant get the water to drain out---- do i need a pump
Daniel for Model Number 11026955690
Answer Daniel, Yes, you do need to check the drain pump 3363892 and drain hoses for obstructions and or a seizing pump. This could cause the "OL"(overloaded) error code, in either the agitate or spin cycles. The control board is looking for a specific amount of Resistance/ RPM in a specific amount of time, and will display the code if not reached. Also check the Drive Coupler 285753A for cracked or broken pegs, or excessive wear and tear.
After a cold night the washer machine got fill of water. Did the water pump get broke, or is something else?
Gonzalo
Answer Hello Gonzalo. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the water valve is bad on the unit and will need to be replaced.
After my wash has completed the cycle, there is a slow drip that comes into the tub from the white item that water shoots down from when filling the tub to wash clothes. What part do I need to fix this?
Pamela for Model Number LTE6234DQO
Answer Hello Pamela. The slow drip can be attributed to one of 2 things. First is water pressure. I would check the facet an insure it is turned all of the way on. Also, you should check the screen on the water valve (where the hose hooks to the back of the machine). If it starts to stop up with mineral deposits or sedimentation from the water line, this can prevent sufficient water pressure to get to the actual valve to close the valve completely. (The water valve is closed by water pressure). The other thing that can cause it is the water valve 285805 is actually failing. Check the obvious before buying any parts but remember, the part,(if needed), is cheaper than the cost of repairing water damage! Hope this was helpful. Have a great day!
