Awhile back I replaced the parts that make washer aggatate. I could'nt get the pump off, so I just moved pump still attached to the motor to one side. Now the pump leaks[bad), the pump was so stuck onto the shaft that I had to take it off in pieces. My ? is there's a piece of plastic about 3/4 in long or less still on shaft, does this stay or does it have to be taken off? Thanks

Washer is not draining. Once in the drain cycle the motor knob that spins the pump is not spinning. There is nothing clogging the pump assembly...What is wrong?

The water will not drain out during the spin cycle. It does spin, but the water will not drain. We can lower the hose and manually drain the water, but it's not being forced out during the spin cycle. We replaced the direct drive motor coupling, but this did not fix the issue. Could it be the drain pump?

After a wash or rinse cycle, the water remains in the tub until the spin cycle starts, then the water is "thrown" out of the washer. Is this a drain pump issue (don't hear any motor noise during the part of the cycle is should be draining) or a timing/timer issue? I haven't pulled the pump off, waiting till I get a new one (if that is the problem).

After the wash is done my clothes are still soaking wet (as oppose to just damp like before). I do not however see any pool of water at the bottom though. I also took out the pump but but don't see any physical damage. I can also rotate the 'wheel' with my fingers tough not freely. There is some tension but then again I'm not sure if that's how it's suppose to be.
