Dryer will not heat I have checked everything on it and replaced the fuse but still will not heat.
Answer Hello Chrystal. Check and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer. Check and make sure the unit is not set to Air Fluff. Also check the heater and thermostats and see if they are good. You can test these with a multi-meter TJMA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
What belt do I buy?

My GE spacemaker microwave XL1400 is experiencing a bad smell when we turn it on and is not warming up our food beginning today. What do you think is malfunctioning. 10/17/2012
Answer Raul, You most likely have a "high voltage" side malfunction. Transformer, diode, magnetron, Capacitor. You will need to be extremely careful if you decide to test the components with a multi meter, Very high residual voltage is present, so make sure you remove power to the microwave and short across the terminals on the capacitor. The magnetron should have a reading of less than 1 ohm resistance across the two terminals, and an "open" circuit between each terminal and chassis ground. The diode/rectifyer should have a resistance reading in one direction only, no reistance, or resistance in both directions indicate a faulry diode. The primary winding on the trans former should read approximately 450 Ohms resistance, the secondary wonding should read 80 ohms resitance, and the filament transformer should read 100 ohms resistance. If all the readings are proper and in range, replace the magnetron.
My whirlpool Duet washing machine has a broken belt in the front of the machine. I was looking for a part number and directions to install.
Answer Hello William! The replacment belt is part number W10388414. You will need to remove the back of the washer to gain acess to the belt and pulley. These are very tight to install. You will need to start the belt on the motor pulley first, then roll it around the big pulley on the back of the tub. Hope this helps you, thanks!
The drum quit turning. I havent gotten it to turn when I get the control turned on.
Answer Hello Terry,
The first thing I need to know is if the motor runs. Do you hear any sounds at all when it is started or is there just no reaction? If not, you could have a bad door switch 3406107. If so, you may have a bad drum roller 349241T which cause the belt to break. Let me know a little more information and I'll happily help you find and correct the problem.
