Answer Kevin, You will want to check the solenoid on the dispenser to make sure that it is moving smoothly. It sounds like the solenoid is hanging up and needs to be replaced.

Answer Hello Leonard, The DA97-01437C assy does not work for your unit. The manufacture does not make the door available as a individual part and has to be gotten as part of the ice route case assembly DA97-05397N

Answer Hello Robert. The way to get this out because it is clipped into place is to try to get a hold of it and pop it out or use a flat blade screw driver to pop loose.
