I replaced the water temp sensor after it showed tE. The machine ran two loads and then did it again. What could cause this problem?
You will want to check the wiring between the thermistor and the main control board to make sure that there is no damage to the wires and if this checks ok then the control board would be the issue.
I am getting the "te" error on my Samsung washing machine. I ohmed out the thermistor and it reads 56k ohms.
Should I replace the thermistor with a DC90-1-128n or can it be something else?
The tE error code means that the washing temperature sensor fault, a faulty and incorrect connection of the sensor, main pcb fault. Check the connections of the temperature sensor. The resistance of the sensor should be at 68 degrees to 86 degrees between 66.187K and 36.941K ohms. It sounds like your sensor is within range. Check the wiring from the sensor to the control board and if this checks ok then the issue would most likely be with the control board.
What are the ohms supposed to be on the shelf?
Answer Hello Lowell. Shelf should not have any ohms. For the thermistor, Plug out the connector and
read its resistance
: Should be 51 k
ONLY for Thermistors on
outer tub back.
