Is this easy to install? My frezzer works, but the fridge is not cooling. All online posts seem to point to this. There's a build up of frost/frozen pipes above the evap. Should I also replace the temp sensor?

I built a room to cool off smoked meats, I installed a freezer's cooling system minus the defroster and the temperature control got bent and then hissed so it no longer works. Currently I have a switch to turn the unit on and it starts the compressor and the fans run. The problem is it does not get cold like it did when I removed it from the commercial freezer. It only has to run for an hour or so for the meat to cool and I do not intend on running it long periods. What is up, does the temperature control need to be in the system or is it something else

Where is the Defrost thermostat located? I removed refrigerator back panel. I found the thermal fuse and the defrost temperature sensor on the coils but not the thermostat. The fuse goes in the first socket. The temperature sensor in the last socket. The heater and fan are on the back panel. Bruce for Model Number RS2533VQ Answer Hello Bruce. The thermostat is in the freezer not the refrigerator. Follow up question: Freezer works great. Refrigerator does not defrost. I've changed the Thermal fuse and the heater with no improvement. Does the freezer Defrost thermostat affect the refrigerator? if not what else would you suggest?
