Answer Hi. Do you hear the fan running in the freezer evaporator itself? The fan motor is part # DA31-00002V the fan blade is part # DA31-00019A. It may be frosting but not circulating the frozen air temperatures. Thank You.

Answer Hello Michael. Test the thermistors and see if they are bad. Here is a chart go go by. Thermistor Temperature Resistance 77°F..................10,000 ohms 36°F..................29,500 ohms 0°F....................86,300 ohms You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Answer Hello Greg. The heater is made into the evaporator assembly on this model. DA97-00192F is the evaporator assembly. Here is the information from the manufacture. Hope this helps. PROCEDURE: The defrost heater is part of the evaporator assembly and is not available as a separate part. The evaporator assembly must be replaced if the defrost heater fails. This applies to both the refrigerator and the freezer sections (where applicable).
