The icemaker in my refrigerator does not eject ice. If I apply heat to the icemaker with a hairdryer it will automatically discharge the ice then refill the tray to the correct level. This process is repeatable each time I apply manual heat using the hairdryer. I have already replaced the ice maker assembly (DA97-06364B) that I ordered from AppliancePartsPros but the new unit did not correct the problem. The temp in my freezer is maintained at -2F degrees. Is it likely that there may be a faulty component on the Main Control Board (AP4432518) causing the icemaker not to receive a signal to heat the cube tray element? Any troubleshooting ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Answer Hello Paul, If the icemaker has been replaced then the main control board would be at fault. The icemaker sends signal to the control board which in turn sends a message to start the icemaker and to turn on heater. The unit is not sending the signal to the icemaker to turn on the heater and would need to have new main control board.

I just purchased PBA Main (part #AP4432518) for Samsung side by side refrigerator. I'm not sure how to install the part and need help identifying where the PBA main is located and how to install the new part. Please help!!!

Answer Hello Tyler. Pull out the unit and remove the power going to the unit. Then remove the cover on the back of the unit and access the PBA DA41-00524A. Remove the wires going to the board and release the tab clips holding the board in place. Install the new board in reverse order.
