Refrigerator stopped cooling. when I plug it in the cooling fan comes on and start relay clicks and the compressor seems to run for a minute or so and then shuts down. Is the overload capacitor bad or is the compressor going bad?

I had an issue with 6 year old Samsung rs2530bsh not cooling. Got an LED error and a technician replaced the defrost sensor and it works. However, after 3 days it stops cooling again. This time no LED error. They can come in but if issue is different then I have to pay $90. It does cool once in a while long enough to create ice. It seems it runs for 4-6 hours then goes to defrost mode. It does not go back to cooling mode until 24 hours or so again. I tried unplugging in and plugin back. Everything runs except for compressor which runs after 8-10 hours of power on. I tested the start relay and it shows 5.6 ohms. Is the defrost sensor bad again? How do you test the overload protector? Is the Main Board bad? I've been thinking replacing the main board. How do you test which component is bad so I can purchase the correct item? Thanks

I inherited a non-operating Samsung RS2630SH refrigerator. The start-up relay was disconnected and the circuit protector was lying in a pool of gooey tar at the base of the compressor. There are three electrical pins on the compressor, unfortunately I see no designation as to how the relay and circuit protector are to be connected to those pins. The relay will fit on any combination of pins. How do I determine which set is correct? Also I see a discrepancy regarding the schematic and the circuit protector. The only wire connected to it is the red wire that comes in the relay harness. The circuit protector I have seems to have only one terminal. The schematic shows that it should also be connected to the line-in neutral. I can find no appropriate loose wire in the cabinet to connect a second terminal. I see the plastic cover for these parts, #18, in the diagram but not in the parts list. Is it available?
