On my refrigerator model I am having trouble with the temperature. I have a digital temp display for both freezer and refrigerator. My problem is when it gets to the temperature it is set at it stops cycling. For example I have the temperature for the refrigerator set at 34 degrees it blows cold and gets to that temp. But then stops and still reads 34 degrees when I unplug it the temp will read 50 degrees but the compressor and the fan turns back on blowing cold unroll it reaches the set temp and does the same thing it stops and I have to unplug it and do this process over and over again. Any ideas, I'm thinking it's the defrost temperature sensor but I'm not sure please help.

2 days ago, my Samsung RB215 refrigerator was freezing everything in the fridge (at that time the thermostat read 44 degrees for the fridge and 4 degrees for the freezer – which is they typical setting). When I unplugged it and plugged it back in the thermostat read 33 degrees for the fridge and -16 degrees for the freezer. Yesterday everything seemed fine (the fridge read 44 and freezer 4); but just to confirm, I unplugged it again to recheck the thermostat. The fridge read 46 and the freezer read -16. This morning, the fridge felt warm (thermostat read 44/4). I unplugged it again and when I plugged it back in the thermostat read 56 and -16. Is it safe to assume that the problem is the thermostat? And if so, is this something simple that I can fix? Thank you, in advance for your assistance
