I am having issues with my belt fluttering while the dryer is running. The belt flutters after some time and hits the exhaust duct of the dryer. I think the heat from the drum is causing the belt to slightly stretch and thus flutter some period of time into the cycle. I have recently replaced the motor, idler pulley assembly, spring, belt, glide and felt pads, support rollers and brackets. What could be the root cause of this belt flutter as it makes quite the racket and is virtually silent otherwise while running.

My dryer makes a loud continuous shuddering sound after the drum heats up. Taking off the bottom panel I can see the belt running fine at start and after the drum heats I can see the belt fluttering. I recently replaced the following: Motor, felt pads, glide pads, roller brackets, rollers, idler pulley arm, and belt. I think that the spring for the idler pulley may need to be replaced to provide more tension to the belt and prevent the fluttering while running once the drum is warm. Is my thinking correct or could it be another issue? Thanks.
