Vacuum cleaners really suck -- in a good way. In order for them to work, a motor spins a fan that pulls air -- as well as dirt that comes loose -- through the machine. Hoses direct the air to a filter bag or canister, where dirt collects before the air leaves the vacuum. Filter bags need to be replaced when they get too dirty or tear. Other vital parts that can wear out over time -- but are easy to replace -- include the brushroll for carpets and rugs, the belt that drives the brushroll, and the tension pulley that's used when you switch from hard floor to carpet care. We have these vacuum parts and more -- including crevice wands, which are great for cleaning other appliance parts such as dryer lint screen ducts.
