Hello I asked how to install new terminal clips to a terminal block. The parts you said I need is 702042k wire and terminal kit
how do you get the ceramic block out so you can install the kit?
I cannot get the ceramic block out... do I have to take the whole cooktop apart to install these parts? (( PLEASE HELP))

Answer Hi Steve. You will need to Remove all power. Then remove all parts except the control box. There are large phillip screws from the inside , sides and middle to remove. This will allow the burner box to lift up and expose the wiring. You will need to drill the screws out that hold the ceramic wiring insulator on. Then make sure that you use the ceramic wire nuts and tuck the wires back in carefully so you do not pinch them when reinstalling the burner box. The kit part # 702042K has instructions. Thank you.

Goes in back of the ceramic receptacle.

Answer Hello Steve. These are not to hard to install. You will need to release the clips on the old terminals and pull the terminals and wires out of the receptacle. Then insert the new wire kit 702042K until they lock into place. Splice the wires together and it is done. Be sure and disconnect the power before servicing the unit. Hope this helps.
