Model Number: MVWX600X Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This machine is 3 years old. It has never gotten clothes clean. Maytag service techs (and 3 other private techs sent out by Homedepot or Maytag) said the machine is operating property and performing as it should. My response was always "then I guess the machine is not expected to clean clothes!" From that comment I would receive a "knowing" smile and nod. I am extremely frustrated. I did replace the actuator recently (thank you and your staff) and the problem of not draining and spinning is fixed. Still leaves clothes dirty. Any organic material is still on the items, and simple baby powder will not even wash off. We call the machine a clothes wetter. Is there anything I can do? I have used all types of soaps, washing machine cleaners (including the one you sell) and no difference. Powdered Tide seems to work better if I put the power in the tub (even dissolved in hot water) but that usually just leaves some on the laundry. Thanks in advance for any helpful hints or suggestions - maybe this is just a lousy washer..... also, tired of going to and paying for a laundrymat

The error code that is showing is F7 E5. It clicks at the start of the cycle for a minute or two and then it clicks between cycles. From what I am able to tell, it appears that it is a mode shifter actuator, but I'm not sure. If it is, will part number W10006355 work?

When I start the machine to wash, the green wash light and red lid light come on. The motor hums briefly (sensing?) then the red light goes out, then back on but flashing. If I hold the start button to cancel, the green light goes off but the red light continues to flash and the lid remains locked. So I pulled the plug and when I put it back in, the red light came on, then off and the lid unlocks. Last night I started it and left it alone for a few hours. When I came back the clothes were wet as if the pump emptied the tank but the tub did not spin. This is what my wife told me that started me looking in the first place. A local shop said there were no manuals available (I was looking for one) but said they sold a lot of lid switches. I bought one but it did not fix the problem. Another shop told me the shift actuator is probably to blame, but I thought I would do more research before buying more parts. That's how I found you. I hope you can help me. Thank you, Rich

My lid lock keeps flashing and I have to manual press start button for it to go into the next cycle. The lid can also be open and the washer will continue to cycle. It often will not spin and we have to put it to drain and spin to complete cycle.

Hi I have 2 yr. Old whirlpool cabrio he washer that the lid lock button flashes. When I turn it on the lid locks you hear it sensing and the lock flashes and unlocks. Eventually it fills with water no agitation. The water drains no spin and it is done. I've replaced the lid lock assembly but it didn't fix the problem. Is it the main control board or the actuator. I also hear a grinding noise when it agitates.
