I am working on a Kenmore washer model #110.21102011, it is acting erratic. In the wash cycle sometimes it will agitate for 15 minutes and sometimes only 4. In the rinse cycle it only puts in about half the water as it should. I replaced the main board with no change. Any ideas?

Machine will fill and drain. Tries to sensor and wash, rinse, or spin but tub will not move. Makes a noise like it is trying to move but doesn't. Will go thru the timed cycle filling and draining water but will not agitate or spin. Checked the belt and it is fine.

Unit makes a actuator movement then quits. Wait a second and does it again...but will not stay engaged to to agitate or spin. I replaced the cam kit even though plastic gears didn't seam to badly worn. Is the Sychronous motor bad ...unit is only 2yrs old or is there other plastic teeth that could be worn and if so how do I actsess even removed agitator to look for clips ..the agitator is a solid unit won't seperate ...please help

Latest Questions

The almost 3 year old HE top loader takes hours to complete a cycle if it does. I do find F7/E1 error code. The washer fails during the rinse/spin cycle - gets to a few minutes left on spin then resets back to 17 and begins a new rinse - repeats and sometimes just stops timing all together. The unit passes ALL auto and manual tests including High speed spin and heavy agitation. Nothing seems to be clear cut on this = all the websites suggest loose cables, bad lid lock or bad actuator. What are your thoughts? I have been under the unit and connections are tight. Likewise connections to the control panel. Thanks.

Is mode shifter the same as the actuator? Had tech look at it and said was bad mode shifter. Couldn't find mode shifter anywhere on your parts list.

When the washer goes into high spin, it wants to jump all over the floor. I replace the springs on all 4 sides of tub, but it's still jumping all over the floor.
