KitchenAid compactor KUCS03FTSS-1. When the kick plate switch is activated and the "solid pack" is in the "on" position, the only way that the ram will cycle is if you hold the kick plate switch down for the entire cycle. When the switch plate is in the "off" position and the toe plate switch is activated the ram will cycle with only a tap of the switch. Which switch will I need to correct the problem?

I need to replace a small metal piece that is attached to the foot pedal on my Kitchen Aid compactor, that appears to be the "actuator" based on what I can tell from your diagram. It is attached with two screws, and when the pedal is lifted, it activates the switch to operate the compactor. The size of the piece that broke off at the place where it bends (not including the part with the two holes) is 2 3/16 x 5/8. I assume this is the "actuator" in your diagram, but you do not list the model number of my Kitchen Aid is the list of models that this part will serve as a replacement actuator (my model ends with PA0, and the models you list are PA1 and PA2). Can you please confirm that this part will work and, if not, please advise as to which part I need? Apparently, this is the second one that has broken, so I'll want to order a few just in case. Thanks.
