Am attempting to replace the cycling thermostat that is located on the duct housing. The original thermostat (which has 3 wires) is discontinued, but has been replaced by a new thermostat (which has 2 wire connections, but comes with 2 short red accessory wires with 2 yellow wire connectors in a "kit" . . . but no instructions). Can you tell me exactly how the 2 wires and wire connectors are to be used to make the new thermostat work in a DE312? Thank you :).

My dryer won't work. Did the troubleshooting and purchased the thermal fuse along with the operating thermostat. Part 660039 , which has 4 prongs, has been replaced with Part 694674, which has only 2 prongs. What do I do with the two violet wires? This part is totally different from original.....confused!

I cleaned the lint from my gas dryer and now it doesn't get or stay hot enough to get the closes dry. I replaced the coils and that helped some but still not good enough. It takes about 1 1/2 hours to dry a load of closes. What and how should I check next? Thanks for the help.
