Answer Hello A.J.C., These are notorious for brake noise, and I believe this is what you are hearing in this case. You can spray a small amount of WD-40 into the brake assembly to quieten it down or replace the brake rotor and lining assembly 35-6714 and the brake stator 35-6918. If you replace the brake parts, you can expect the noise to return shortly. If you spray the brake with WD-40, you can expect the tub to take a long time to stop after a spin.

Answer Hello Celeste. Sorry, but your model number does not use dogs. If the agitator is not agitating, you will need to order and replace the transmission in the unit.

Answer Hello Rick. You will need to check and see if the thrust bearing kit 12002213 is bad on the unit and needs to be replaced.

Answer Patrick, You may have a damaged agitator "dog" system, If you can turn the agitator auger assembly in both directions, you'll need to replace the agitator. If the agitator checks OK, your issue could be in the transmission 35-6615 or more likely a thrust bearing issue 12002213 . You'll need to remove the drive belt, and transmission pulley and cams, slip the "cam" back onto the splined arae of the shaft. turn the cam clockwise, you should be able to hear and feel if the gears inside are meshing and rolling properly.
