How do you remove the front piece on the outside of the refrigerator? We need to fix the arm dispensor for the ice maker. We can not get the front panel off.

Answer Hello Kathy,
Remove the drain grill and grasp the bottom of the dispense front and pull down and out at the same time with your knee against the freezer door so it cannot open. It will pop right out. To reinstall it, hook it on at the top and bump the plastic clips back in with the heel of your hand.
I think this is what I nead to close the ice door.

Answer Hello Marvin. If the ice door is not closing, you will need to check and see if the tabs are broke that holds it in place. If so, you will need to replace the ice door kit 8201756. This kit is designed to repair the flapper inside the dispenser. It comes with the instructions for the repair. Hope this helps.
