Finally, thanks your efforts in assisting me in diagnosing what could be potential problem for not functioning during the washing cycle. Frankly, I could not understand why the draining cycles of was working and not during the washing. Now I know, as you mentioned, there are two motors; one for washing and another for draining. I am puzzled by the fact that the Sears Repair Parts List does not show or list the Drain Motor part #Ap3133590. Do you know why? Or this motor is a part of “Wash Motor Assembly (part #AP4434617)?

In your reply, you stated that there is two (2) “Motors”, one for drainage and one for washing cycles. However, the dishwasher (Model #665.17379301) parts manual “Pump and Motor Parts” shows only one, “Motor Assembly, Part #8531021”. Does this “Assembly” include both motors? If not, then where the drain and wash motors are located? Once again, thanks for your assistance

Water draining cycle is working, but the washing cycle is not. Replacing the motor will not solve the problem, right? If I am correct, then the washing cycle (water spraying) is not working because malfunctioning of the Impeller?

Latest Questions

Washing and rinsing cycles is humming. But, “water draining cycle” works. Furthermore, during the washing cycle I could smell “Motor Burning”. Based on the above, can I presume that the “Control Boar part #AP359513” is working? If is, then was wrong with washing/rinsing cycles?

None of the Wash, Spray arms and Spinner (3rd level wash) will spin (rotate) during any cycles. The wash tub will fill with water up to the limit and also it will drain. The Sensing light is on for a considerable time. What can be wrong?
