The broiler does not light, i replaced the igniter and it still does not light, however i can light it with a lighter. When i do light it, the flame flutters like it wants to go out. where do i go from here?
Answer TJ, First thing, are you using NAT gas or LP gas ? and do you have the correct pressure supply? Do all the other burners operate correctly ? If all's proper and OK, you want to make sure the igniter is properly installed and mounted, and check for an amperage draw of 3.2 to 3.6 amps on the igniter wire to make sure you have a "good" igniter. If the amp draw is in range and there are no loose connections, you'll need to consider the safety valve Y0316220 The bi metal switch inside, would have an issue. Thanks
