Having trouble with my microwave, everything works but will not heat. It has two fuses the one that makes it heat has blown, I replaced it an when I turned the microwave on it blew it too. Could it be the magnetron?

Gerald for Model Number mmv5207baw

Have a maytag that when first start up goes through first heat cycle. Then all you hear is fan blowing and never goes to heat cycle again. From what I have read it sounds like the magnatron. Is this the only part I should replace while it is disassembled or should chance diode in conjunction as preventative.

Can I ohm test magnatron, capacitor,or diode with ohm meter? Put in used magnatron 2 months ago, quit heating again. Also there wasn;t any spark across capacitor neither time.

Related to MMV4205BA not heating: Thanks for your answer about the magnetron and the diode. I took the microwave apart last night. The symptoms remain the same whether the starting capacitor is plugged in or not. Still think it is the magnetron? Thanks.
