I read some of the comments and want to be clear on this before I start this. I have a Amana frig that HAS screws in the door. Do I still cut the gasket or do I remove all of the screws and then remove the gasket, then use the same screws after I have the gasket in place to tighten it down? Your website is confusing as it shows to cut the gasket, remove it, insert the new one. But the instructions that came with the gasket show to cut and remove it, then replace the gasket, pre-drill 40 screws and screw it down. Now I have too wait for a response before I can do this project. The nice lady on the phone could not help me. Hopefully you can. Thank you.

My door liner is held in by a series of screws that are very tight, and when I loosen them they turn and turn without coming out. Do they need to be be removed?

I watched the installation video for this part, and it shows that it just snaps into place. When I received the gasket in the mail, the instructions said to drill 40holes in the door and it provided 40 screws. There was no mention of adding screws in the video. Is it necessary? I really don't want to drill holes in the door

Hi, We have the above model which requires a new gasket. From a Amana parts manual the part number for this is 12444211. On the fridge it looks as though screws have to be removed to replace it. Could you please confirm for us if the AP4245998 part listed is the correct part before we order? Also - one of the crisper bins is broken - it is the second bin from the bottom. The manual shows item number 0043 for both the bottom bins but we have noticed the bottom bin is different. Could you confirm for us if the part number AP4005266 is the correct p/no. for the second bin from the bottom before we order? I have photos if further info is required Your help would be very much appreciated

I need to replace the gasket on my refrigerator part of the side by side Amana because it is sagging on the bottom. If I buy your gasket, what do I need to do to remove the old gasket and replace it with the new one? How difficult is it?
