I need to replace the door gaskets on the refrigerator and freezer doors. Will the parts listed for the sbde21ve fit?

Answer Hello Barbara! I've located model SBDE21VPE and SBD21VE from the model numbers supplied. According to each model number research they both use the same door gasket part numbers. For the freezer door gasket use part number R0000203 and for the refrigerator door gasket use part number R0000202. Thanks!

Hi, We have the above model which requires a new gasket. From a Amana parts manual the part number for this is 12444211. On the fridge it looks as though screws have to be removed to replace it. Could you please confirm for us if the AP4245998 part listed is the correct part before we order? Also - one of the crisper bins is broken - it is the second bin from the bottom. The manual shows item number 0043 for both the bottom bins but we have noticed the bottom bin is different. Could you confirm for us if the part number AP4005266 is the correct p/no. for the second bin from the bottom before we order? I have photos if further info is required Your help would be very much appreciated

Answer Ross, We've checked for the part numbers you supplied, The fresh food door gasket is part number R0000202 the freezer door gasket is R0000203 . Remeber to soak the gasket in a tub of hot water to make it more flexible and easy to work with,before you try to install it. The crisper bin 10783204 is a "substitute" part and may not look the same as your original, but should function properly. Thanks and Good Luck

Answer Hello Janet! The refrigerator door gasket on your model SRD26VPSE is part number R0000202. Pull the old gasket off. It may be best to soak the new gasket in warm water to help take its shape/form. The new gasket will press into the door liner. You may need to use a hair dryer to form the seal, be careful not to melt it. Hope this helps!
