I have an amana gas dryer. I change the 2 coils on the valve but I still hear the valve clicking open and close several times in a row. What could be causing this?

Answer Hello Ron. You will need to test the thermostats 489P3 and the flame sensor 338906 and make sure they are good. They should read closed for continuity. Also, check the igniter and make sure it is getting hot enough to light the gas. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter for the testing procedures.
