Answer Hello Scott. If you can stop the water from entering the machine by turning off the timer or unplugging the unit, you will need to look for a bad pressure hose or replace the pressure switch. If the only way to shut off the water is at the shut off for the water hoses, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit.

Answer Hello Brittani. You will need to check and see if the lid switch 285671 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Answer Hi. Make sure the bolt under the fabric softener cap part # 8528278 is tightly holding the agitator down. Then pop the fabric softener cap firmly onto the top of the agitator. The 3-way action refers to the back and forth agitator action. Lastly the vertical movement of the agitator vanes that pull the clothes inward from the top -> down to the bottom of the tub over and over to immerse the clothes in the wash action. On the fabric softener bottom there is a 3/8" surrounding opening that dispenses the softener. Keep the softener cap clean regularly with a bottle brush. Thank You.
